Governance is action. It takes the form of a wide array of planning, approval, access control, monitoring, remediation, auditing, and numerous other tasks that must be undertaken throughout the development, deployment, and maintenance lifecycle of every AI project. As a head of data science and AI, you've got to have a governance process that works across the business, because there are different types of AI.
