How Johnson & Johnson Scales Data Science in a Hybrid and Multicloud Computing Environment
Lockheed
NVIDIA

Originally aired September, 2022 as part of NVIDIA's GTC Conference.

Despite the promise of the cloud, concerns over cost, security, and regulatory compliance compel a growing number of enterprises to adopt hybrid AI infrastructure strategies straddling on-prem data centers and the cloud. Johnson & Johnson (JnJ) is at the forefront of MLOps at enterprise scale, embedding over 1,000 data scientists throughout its business functions.

In this panel, Vikash Varma, Johnson & Johnson, joins Rory Kelleher, NVIDIA, and Thomas Robinson, Domino Data Lab, in a forward-looking discussion on future-proofing AI infrastructure investments. Learn how J&J's enterprise IT strategy accounts for:

  1. Data spanning multiple clouds and on-prem sources,
  2. Data gravity, security, and compliance/regulatory implications for a hybrid AI infrastructure, and...
  3. Orchestrating data science workloads across compute clusters in different geographic regions - on prem, and across multiple clouds.
