How Johnson & Johnson Scales Data Science in a Hybrid and Multi-Cloud Computing Environment

Originally aired September, 2022 as part of NVIDIA's GTC Conference.
Despite the promise of the cloud, concerns over cost, security, and regulatory compliance compel a growing number of enterprises to adopt hybrid AI infrastructure strategies straddling on-prem data centers and the cloud. Johnson & Johnson (JnJ) is at the forefront of MLOps at enterprise scale, embedding over 1,000 data scientists throughout its business functions.
In this panel, Vikash Varma, Johnson & Johnson, joins Rory Kelleher, NVIDIA, and Thomas Robinson, Domino Data Lab, in a forward-looking discussion on future-proofing AI infrastructure investments. Learn how J&J's enterprise IT strategy accounts for:
- Data spanning multiple clouds and on-prem sources,
- Data gravity, security, and compliance/regulatory implications for a hybrid AI infrastructure, and...
- Orchestrating data science workloads across compute clusters in different geographic regions - on prem, and across multiple clouds.
