Domino Catalyst Awards Celebrate Business Impact by AI Leaders in Financial Services and Life Sciences
June 25, 2025
San Francisco – Domino Data Lab, provider of the leading Enterprise AI Platform trusted by the largest AI-driven companies, today announced the winners of the inaugural Domino Catalyst Awards, honoring customers transforming their industries with AI—from life sciences to financial services. These awards celebrate Domino customers who are redefining what’s possible with data science and AI in heavily governed environments.
Domino recognized honorees at recent RevX summits in New York City, Philadelphia, and London for their exceptional work advancing responsible AI innovation in two of the world’s most regulated sectors.
“Domino is proud to recognize customers who are setting a new standard for impact, delivering on the promise of AI with real outcomes,” said Nick Elprin, Co-Founder and CEO at Domino Data Lab. “These awardees are solving meaningful problems, accelerating discovery, and unlocking new opportunities for their organizations—and the industries they serve.”
The recent REVelate report found that life sciences and financial services are some of the most advanced in terms of adoption yet are still early in determining the return on that investment (ROI). 98% of both life sciences and financial services organizations are currently using Generative AI, yet just 3% and 8.6% in each industry, respectively, expect it to deliver significant ROI this year. The winners of the Domino Catalyst Awards stand out as exceptions identifying real outcomes as a result of their AI strategy.
Winners were selected from a competitive field of nominees by an internal judging panel, based on criteria including measurable business outcomes, innovation in model deployment, quantifiable impact in their respective industries, and adherence to governed AI practices. The winners of the 2025 Domino Catalyst Awards include:
- BNP Paribas Cardif Data Science and IT teams — recognized for the successful implementation of an in-house intelligent document processing (IDP) system that automates decision-making, reduces costs, and accelerates claims processing times from 10 minutes manually to just seconds now. The AI-driven solution enhanced customer satisfaction and significantly boosted operational efficiency across multiple countries.
- The Federal Reserve Bank of New York (FRBNY) - Theo Linneman, Senior Data Scientist — recognized for transforming data science strategy and model deployment at FRBNY and driving system-wide impact through centralized workflows, cross-team collaboration, and hands-on leadership supporting a team of over 250 data scientists.
- GSK - Eileen Ching, Senior Director of Biostatistics Technical Capability Delivery — recognized for pioneering the modernization of the Statistical Computing Environment at GSK and leading the development of an agile implementation framework — accelerating clinical trial workflows and setting a new industry standard.
- USAA - Cody Nolden, Principal AI Architect — recognized for leading the shift to a scalable, cloud-based architecture supporting over 350 data scientists. This shift unifies cross-functional teams to build a hybrid platform that meets both technical and business needs.
- Zürcher Kantonalbank - Himadri Banerjee, Product Owner for Data Science and Analytics — recognized for driving Zürcher Kantonalbank’s enterprise-wide data science transformation, leading the development of a modern analytics and MLOps platform that brings data science into production across critical business units.
